Most studios make you book a call to hear a price. Here it is in writing instead: websites from £495, half up front and half on completion, with unlimited changes for four weeks after delivery. Extras agreed up front. No small print to find later.

Straight answers

You are thinking it. Here is the answer.

Why is it £495 when agencies quote thousands?

Published UK price guides put a typical agency built small business site between £1,500 and £5,000. That money buys their office, their account manager and their six week discovery phase. Here it buys a small studio with a fast pipeline and the films. The five sites on this page are the evidence.

What is the catch?

Scope. £495 is the floor and it buys your existing site rebuilt properly, or a new one built from scratch. More pages, more films and ongoing changes cost more, and every one of them is quoted before any work starts. The catch is that there is no small print, which some people find suspicious.

How long does it take?

Your first draft is ready within 24 hours of the review call. You are not booked into a discovery workshop. You talk, we build, and the next day you open the draft on your phone.

What if I do not like it?

Then it does not go live. You see a working draft first and we shape it together until it reads like your shop. Nothing is published without your say so.

I already have a website. Is it worth redoing?

Open it on your phone and watch yourself hesitate. If it loads slowly, looks like a template or hides the booking button, it is quietly costing you work. Salty Descents on the work page is exactly this job: an existing site rebuilt end to end, every course, price and photograph kept, and none of it reads like a template any more. Send yours over and you will get a straight answer either way.

I run a restaurant or a shop. Does this work for me?

Yes. The same machine fits any business that lives on bookings, orders or enquiries: menus people can actually read on a phone, table requests to WhatsApp or a form, product pages, opening hours, directions. The film just changes to your world.

How much does a website cost in the UK?

On the builders' own price lists a do it yourself site runs £10 to £35 a month, which is £120 to £430 a year for as long as you keep it. Published 2026 UK price guides put a typical agency built small business site between £1,500 and £5,000. Here it is from £495, once: half up front, half on completion, with unlimited changes for four weeks after delivery.

How does payment work?

Half up front to book the build, the rest when it is finished and you are happy. After delivery you get unlimited rounds of changes for four weeks, all included in the price.

What happens on the review call?

You tell us about the business and what the site has to do. Then we build you a first draft within 24 hours, before you commit to anything. No obligation and no hard sell.

Do I own it?

The site runs on your own domain and the enquiries are yours. If you already own a domain, we connect it. If you do not, we help you register one that you own, not us.

Your next customer is on their phone right now.

Book a free review call, tell us what the business does, and hold your first draft within 24 hours. Half up front only when you say go.
